Counseling Psychology Student to Study Hardiness and Social Support Among Recent Veterans

Tory Tomassetti, a doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology Program, proposed her dissertation today. Tory's dissertation is titled Hardiness, Social Support, Parental Stress, and Posttraumatic Stress Symptoms in Recent Service Members. She plans to investigate hardiness and social support as variables that may influence the relationship between posttraumatic stress symptoms and parental stress among veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tory works with Dr. Bonnie Nicholson on her positive parenting research team.
