Dr. Mike Madson is scheduled to be interviewed on Southern Miss Radio (WUSM 88.5 FM) about the Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students (BASICS) program on Tuesday, January 28 at Noon.

The BASICS program is available free of charge to Southern Miss students of traditional college age (18-25) who drink alcohol and are interested in preventing the consequences often associated with alcohol use. Students who participate in research associated with the program can earn up to $30 in gift certificates at Barnes and Noble or Starbucks.

BASICS has been well-received at the university, and Dr. Madson has done a great job in spreading the word about the program on campus.

For those of you who would like to listen to the interview but are not in the Hattiesburg area, you can find some information here about how to listen online.
